Marine Environmental Databank (MED) stores and manages maritime data including mid-range and long-range coastal observations, satellite remote sensing, core sampling, and many others. This gives TORI the opportunity to organize and further analyze these data in order to provide better applications and services to the public.
MED is maintained by Data Management Division in TORI and provides data collected from different fields including marine biology, marine biogeochemistry, marine geology and geophysics, and marine physics. All of data are stored in MED for long-term management and usage. The following databases are now available for user:
